We recently partnered with a thriving spa skin care brand to help them evaluate (and strategize) their current product portfolio for compliance and expansion.
Partnering with the brand’s in-house team, Simply Formulas first reviewed the strategic growth plans for the brand and how the current product portfolio fits in with and serves those objectives. Next, we reviewed the products, category by category, to look for opportunities to optimize the performance of the products, develop supply chain efficiencies, and identify white space opportunities for growth.
To support the brand’s expansion efforts and ensure compliance, our team conducted a thorough audit of its current ingredient declarations and claims, looking for potential conflicts with EU and other international standards. The results of our study were presented to the brand’s leadership team, along with comprehensive recommendations for next steps and resource planning.
We developed a protocol for qualifying new (and requalifying existing) third-party manufacturing partners. We worked closely with the brand and manufacturers to improve their relationship. The result? Removal of roadblocks, increased transparency, smooth manufacturing processes and improved product quality.
